The Planning & Research Division provides the Sheriff’s Offices Units with both long and short term planning; internal auditing; grant procurement; and capital improvement project management.
Projects involving planning are constantly changing with new ones coming in and older ones being completed. Some of the recent activities include; 28 internal division audits in the last 24 months; annual grants totaling over one million dollars; managing approximately four million per year in capital projects.
