Employee Awards Events and Other Sheriff's Events
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office awards employees every quarter for outstanding service. Fellow employees send in the nominations. The Human Resources Division gives out awards at a special ceremony. Awards include “Employees of the Quarter”, and the Jail Division's “Employees of the Month”.
The Sheriff's Office also promotes various public benefit programs and charity events. Our adopted school is Klondike Elementary, and the Sheriff provides an Angel Tree Program for them during the holidays.
