The fundamental mission of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy is to provide professional training curricula designed to improve the quality of regional law enforcement and correctional services.

The Sheriff of Shelby County, Director of Training, and Staff are totally committed to fully developing learning potential, while achieving an appropriate balance between knowledge and practical application in all segments of basic, in-service and specialized training.
